Check the client’s website: A good website will make your job easy. A good website is one which has informative and has keyword rich content. It should not confuse the visitors or it will happen that you will do your job in the best possible way but due to a bad website you will be unable to push the sales. No sales would ultimately mean no commission which will be a loss for you.

Select a Niche: Once you get a hang of handling affiliate marketing campaigns you can specialize in doing them for a particular industry. You can study the market basics, customer preferences and also calculate the commission percentage you can earn. Later you can even pitch to clients saying you have an expertise in their business industry and hence you will do a good job.
